Mr. Nolan Valus- Principal, 5th-6th Grade Teacher, Coach
As a teacher at Mt. Olive, I am given the privilege and opportunity to train and assist parents in bringing up children in the knowledge and love of Christ. It is such a joy to be able to watch the Lord's little lambs grow and flourish in their lives because of the faith that the Holy Spirit develops and strengthens in their heard through daily exposure and studying of the Bible. Here at Mt. Olive, the other teachers and I have the ability to work closely with our students in our classrooms and keep the focus of Christ in all aspects of our work, both in religion classes and throughout every facet of the day.

Ms. Rachel Wendland- ECE Director, Preschool Teacher
I consider it a great honor and privilage to teach some of the youngest sheep in God's flock. Christian parents and teachers are tasked with bringing up children in the instruction of the Lord. What a joy to do so! The simple and trusting faith of a child is so beautiful to see. When I see children absorbed in Bible stories, memorizing short Bible passages, or belting out
"Jesus Loves Me", it reaffirms the importance of teaching children the truths of God's Word. Even the very youngest in God's kingdom are precious to him. As 2 Timothy 3:15 states, "...and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus."

What a wonderful opportunity I have to begin the formal education of these precious 5-6 year old children! They are so eager to learn and so accepting of everyone around them. It's a privilege and responsibility for which I am grateful. As the oldest of eight siblings, I guess I've always been a "teacher" and am glad that God guided me along the path to be able to continue to teach. Working with the rest of our staff and the parents here at Mt. Olive is also a great blessing!
